A.A.S. Degree General Education Core

Savannah
Technical College offers the Associate of Applied  Science (A.A.S.) degrees in workforce related areas. All A.A.S. degree programs require completion of general core courses in the major academic areas:
  • AREA I Language Arts/Communication
  • AREA II Social/Behavior Science
  • AREA III Natural Sciences/Mathematics and
  • AREA IV Humanities/Fine Arts
The chart below displays the minimum number of required semester credit hours in each area and the courses that meet those requirements. The A.A.S. degree requires a minimum of 15 general education core semester hours.
