Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are work-based training programs that combine formal instruction with on-site, occupational-related training/work. Apprentices typically work 30-40 hours per week and attend class part-time or full-time at Savannah Technical College.

The following companies have apprenticeships with STC students: Brasseler USA, C&H Precision, CS Hurd Electrical Contracting, Gulfstream Aerospace, JCB, Nine Line Apparel, St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System.

A registered apprenticeship program is a robust and comprehensive training model designed to assist employers in the transformation and cultivation of entry-level employees into highly skilled professionals.
